 Financial grant-in-aid is sanctioned by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department of Chhattisgarh Government to the victims of various natural calamities through the District Collector.  In Kondagaon, Kanker and Janjgir-Champa districts, financial assistance of Rs 44 lakh has been sanctioned in 11 cases of victims of natural calamity.

 Under the Revenue Book Circular 6-4, Chaituram of village Bhanpuri of Parasgaon tehsil of district Kondagaon district and Jagturam of Badeghodsoda village of Makdi tehsil died due to drowning in water, financial assistance of Rs.  has been approved.  Similarly, Padmanath of village Badekanera in Kondagaon tehsil, Harichad of village Karsing, Shriram of village Dhansuli, Dinesh of village Temerugaon and Ramvati of village Makdi had died due to drowning in water.  Financial assistance of Rs.4 lakh each has been sanctioned to the bereaved families of the deceased.

 Rambhagat Nishad of Haradula in Charama tehsil of North Bastar Kanker and Parameshwar of Khairakheda died due to drowning, Rekhadevi of village Pisaud of Janjgir Champa tehsil Janggir died of snake bite and Poornima Goswami of Lachhanpur died in fire  Financial aid of Rs.4 lakh each has been sanctioned to the kin of the deceased due to burning.
